This website is a resource for Consumers (those who are recipients of in-home supportive services) and Individual Providers (those who give in-home care). Please peruse the website pages for information on benefits for both Consumers and Providers and to learn more about the Public Authority.
The Public Authority organization supports the In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) program of the San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency. IHSS provides personal care and domestic services for elderly or disabled individuals and allows them to stay in their homes rather than in costly and less desirable placement facilities.
